2025 Independence Day Celebrations

Mt Tawa village celebrated the 2025 September 16th Independence Day celebration with competitions, games, face paint and costumes, drama skits, prizes and more. There were archery contests, string making contests, fire starting contests, barrel walking contests, and volleyball competitions. People dressed up in their traditional face paint and outfits and also had drama skits. Prizes were given in the end to the winners. Here is a short video of some of those events:
