Trade Store

Here is a look at the trade store that I helped build and put together for the Mt Tawa community. Some of the basic items sold in the store are: basic food items, machete, shovels, axe head and other tools; basic kitchen ware, soaps and personal hygiene items; rope, string, clothes and other items of interest to the community. Throughout Papua New Guinea you will find small trade stores like this one. It is up to the community now to manage it for themselves.
